Reluctancy and Perfectionism

Building zzetto.com wasn’t just about making a website—it became a mirror for my own perfectionism. I found myself stuck in a loop of “not yet.” Not launching until the merch was just right. Not launching until the layout felt undeniably clean. Not launching until the whole thing screamed exactly what I envisioned.
The truth? That moment never comes.

There’s a certain kind of reluctancy that doesn’t come from laziness—it comes from wanting the launch to feel like a bang, not a whimper. I wanted people to land on the site and instantly feel what ZZETTO stood for. But in chasing that perfect moment, I kept delaying it. Overthinking. Overpolishing. And honestly, overwhelming myself.

It took a few close friends to pull me out of that loop. They reminded me: “It’s already good.” “You can change things later.” “Just launch.”
And they were right.

ZZETTO isn’t about standing still—it’s about motion, growth, energy. So why should the launch be the opposite? This is just the beginning, and I’d rather build something real and evolving than stay stuck in the shadows of what could be.

So here we are. The site is live. The merch is out. And the journey continues—with all its imperfections, experiments, and energy.
